Düsseldorf/Hamburg, April 9, 2026 – The Centralis Real Estate Group announces the start of construction for its development project at Lüneburger Straße 5 in Hamburg-Harburg. On the 700-square-meter lot, Limehome is expected to operate a total of 88 modern serviced apartments starting in Q3 2027.
The project comprises a total of 3,100 square meters of rental space. The units range in size from 20 to 35 square meters, with additional restaurant and retail space on the ground floor.
The original plans to use the site for serviced apartments date back to 2018 and were submitted at that time by a different investor. Centralis took over in 2024, adapted the plans and has consistently driven forward the project alongside its construction partner August Prien. The recent start of construction marks the latest successful milestone.
The property’s micro-location in southern Hamburg is attractive. Transportation links are excellent, with the Harburg-Rathaus S-Bahn station just a four-minute walk away. The immediate vicinity also features green spaces, various local amenities - including the Phönix-Center Hamburg shopping mall - and cultural institutions such as the Hamburg Archaeological Museum.
